ALOV at First Sight

Just wanted to take a moment to extend our genuine thanks once again to the Associated Landowners of the Ohio Valley, which earlier this week invited EID-Ohio campaign manager Mike Chadsey and me to stop by its latest member meeting and take a couple minutes to introduce ourselves and the effort we’re helping to lead here in eastern Ohio.

The meeting was held up in Middlefield, and turned out more than 75 folks — not bad at all for a Tuesday night.  According to group’s president Bob Rea, ALOV and its sister groups now have more than 200,000 acres under lease — a huge chunk of land to be sure, and yet another measure of how important this group is and will continue to be in the broader debate over responsible oil and natural gas development in the state.

Here below, I captured a quick video of Mike’s presentation this past Tuesday night. Once again, a great big “thank you” to the ALOV folks for welcoming us in and being so accommodating while we were there.
