As I write this it is the day before Christmas Eve and the third night of Chanukah.  All across our region folks are finishing up their last minute shopping, preparing meals for family and friends (with clean burning natural gas), and traveling to visit their loved ones near and far.  It is fitting that during this special time of year we all reflect on the blessings provided to us and the  importance of family, friends, and community.  It is after all the reason for the season.  In this spirit we have told our staff to take a couple of much needed days off to do the same.
