Real Experts Sound-Off Before, During, After Tillman Meeting

Gasland star Calvin Tillman traveled all the way up from Texas this weekend to teach folks in Stark County a thing or two about the so-called dangers of developing oil and natural gas from shale. But we did our level-best to make sure the former mayor of DISH didn’t get out of town this weekend without at least hearing from a few local folks who have spent the better part of their careers producing and delivering energy in a safe and responsible way.

Here below, a few of the video testimonials we captured last night from experts in the industry who live here, raise their families here, and obviously have plenty of skin in the game when it comes to protecting and preserving our air, water and surrounding environment.

I am very excited about the Utica shale play in Northeast Ohio. I think that it will do a lot for the economy, in creating jobs, and other small business’s in the local communities. I think that what is being done here is positive, and these natural resources need to be tapped as quickly as possible.
