We here at the Energy In Depth Northeast Marcellus Initiative would just like to take a moment to welcome our newest EID team to hit the ground out in Ohio!  Ohio offers tremendous oil and gas opportunities, especially in the Utica Shale, which we also have below the Marcellus.  Therefore, what happens there matters to all of us for many reasons.  Not the least of which is the revitalization of the entire Northeast region as an oil and gas producer, which will provide significant economic benefits to our towns and communities and lead the way for further development of the industry.  Please read on after the jump to learn more about this new initiative and how you can get involved in working with them.

This week Energy in Depth officially launched it’s newest grassroots initiative–EID Ohio–to continue the grassroots efforts started earlier this year to educate communities about natural gas. The team, which is comprised of members of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA), the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP), and others with a plethora of oil and natural gas experience, will be working to provide factual information about oil and natural gas development in the Utica Shale.
